Our Mission
Student Affairs is dedicated to students' growth and development outside of the formal classroom. We create opportunities and experiences for students to challenge and broaden their individual perspective, to advance their personal and professional growth, to encourage healthy decision making, and to foster leadership characteristics. Our goal is to cultivate students who will positively contribute to a future role in the workforce and in society.
Services
Adult Students
Adult students may have additional family and work responsibilities that some of our traditional aged students do not have. We provide an array of services to help support the adult student. Some of these include programming, an Adult Student Center and resources for adults.
Athletics and Fitness
Penn State DuBois provides athletic opportunities in both varsity sports and intramural sports. In addition, we provide a fitness center free of charge for students.
Basic Needs Support
Students can face financial challenges or unexpected life events during their college careers. Nationally and at Penn State, food and housing insecurity is an increasing concern for many college students. We are here to help provide the resources you need to thrive and succeed, so you can focus on your goals and making the most of your time at the University.
If you are struggling to afford basic needs, such as food, housing, textbooks, clothing, or other household items, we are here for you. If you need help - or if you are uncertain about your needs - reach out to one of the many resources available on-campus or in the community.

Diversity & Multicultural Services
Penn State DuBois is committed to providing the support structures and framework for students, faculty, staff and administration from all backgrounds to foster healthy diversity and multicultural dynamics, guided by the Penn State DuBois Framework to Foster Diversity and leading the Penn State system and higher education in Pennsylvania in equipping all students, faculty and staff on campus with the skills and perspectives needed to achieve at the highest level of academic and career performance.
Food Pantry
The Penn State DuBois Food Pantry is situated in the Office of Student Affairs, in the Hiller building. It is open to all students who are experiencing food insecurities and in need of cleaning materials and toiletries. Please stop in and talk with Ann Whyte, who is more than happy to help you. Health & Counseling Services
Providing health and wellness programming, physician and psychological services in an effort to promote health living and well being of students.
Housing
Penn State DuBois does not offer on campus housing. Housing is offered in adjacent apartments and houses near the campus that are owned and operated privately by local landlords. This link provides information about these housing opportunities.
LGBT Support
We at Penn State DuBois strive to create and maintain an open, safe and inclusive environment for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender students. We have an array of resources and support services to assist students and encourage students to use these resources whenever necessary.
Student Engagement
This office provides an array of out of class opportunities including diversity programs, leadership development, community service, club and organization support and other learning environments.
Student Conduct and Policies
Providing a safe living and learning environment for Penn State DuBois students by promoting the Code of Conduct and other student policies.
Student Legal Services
Provides advice, referrals, document drafting, and other legal services to University Park and Commonwealth Campus students facing personal legal issues. To get started, contact student affairs for information on how to use the service!
Veterans Services
